Mr. Shuman has been developing custom solid state laser solutions for military and commercial applications since 1999.  His experience includes modeling, design, engineering and program management with a variety of laser types for applications including atmospheric LIDAR, airborne bathymetry, remote sensing and detection and spectroscopic analysis. 

Mr. Shuman received his and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Virginia Tech and a M.S. in Optics from the University of Rochester.  He is one of the GLAMR laser operators as well as the lead engineer on our second laser table.
